Join the Athens Area Chamber on Wednesday, July 19th, between 8:00 and 9:30am to network and discuss the important topic of Financial Intelligence. A panel comprised of representatives from Athens County Economic Development Council, Appalachian Center for Economic Networks (ACEnet), and The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Ohio University will cover important financial advice, especially for business owners, contractors, and entrepreneurs.

And thanks to sponsorship from Bagel Street Deli, this event will feature a bagel bar for attendees to enjoy while networking and listening to our speakers!

Panel Discussion

This panel discussion will focus on the inner weavings of small business and personal finances, concentrating on how each ebb and flow of the fiscal year can be less challenging when given the right tools to fit your personal goals. The panel will be comprised of Mollie Fitzgerald, Executive Director of Athens County Economic Development Council; Larry Fisher, Executive Director at Appalachian Center for Economic Networks (ACEnet); and Erin Gibson, Certified Business Advisor, and Jessica Kopelwitz, Business Advisor, at The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Ohio University.

The panelists will speak on topics including:

  • When do you know you’re ready to grow your business?
  • Business loans with personal consequences
  • Affording the life you want, on a small business budget
